Christmas in October PHILIPPINES

It's that time of year again, when we collect gift donations for the Bethesda Children's Home in the Philippines run by Donald & Cecilia Soriano. This is a ministry we support on a monthly basis. Donations will be collected starting Sunday, Sept. 5th through Sunday, October 10th. Items needed are school supplies, boys and girls clothes and small toys. An itemized list will be available in your bulletin this Sunday and extra lists will be available in back of church by the small Christmas tree on Sunday, Sept 5th. Please place all donated gifts under the Christmas tree. Donations to help pay for shipping expenses can also be made by making your check payable to TFH, with a memo to shipping expenses and these donations can be placed in the Mission box in back of church. TFH Men's Ministry Annual Archery Shoot will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11th, at 9 a.m. at the property of Norm Nielsen, prizes will be awarded and lunch will be served following the shoot. Join us as we Welcome our new Senior Pastor Bill & Clara Bolin and their family to The Father's House on Sunday, Sept. 12th at our 10:00 a.m. service followed by a time of fellowship with refreshments and cookies. This will also mark the beginning of our Fall Campaign for 2010 "40 Days of Fire"! Please join us this Fall as we begin an exciting sermon series on 'Fire'! This should be a time of growth and challenge as we explore the various ways the Fire of God has been designed to impact our lives. |
